Couple’s Portrait Spotlight: Kim & John Pregnancy Announcement

We have a very special kind of couple’s portrait session to spotlight this month…a pregnancy announcement!

October Dreams Photography loves a good surprise. That’s why we were thrilled to shoot these photos for Kim and John, who wanted to surprise their family with their pregnancy news over the Thanksgiving holiday. We visited Kim’s favorite trail in Wyomissing to capture the perfect fall vibes. When the photos were taken, Kim was 10 weeks pregnant, and she and John announced the news at 12 weeks!

The ultrasound photo strip might just be our new favorite prop. And how gorgeous does that field look in the background?!

This will be the first grandbaby on Kim’s side of the family, so the news was extra special.

They already make an adorable family! Look at that color coordination. The solid gold onesie over John’s dark shirt is the perfect level of contrast. Plus, Kim’s skirt adds a pop of pattern without straying too far from the theme.

Something about the way the light shines through the trees just makes these photos look so magical.

• 

This might just be one of the best photos from the shoot. The scenery at this trail was so incredible. And they’re such an adorable couple! We’ll have to recreate this shot someday after the little one arrives.
